๐ŸŒฟ From 8-12 June, the TransParcNet Meeting 2026 is taking place in the stunning Neusiedler See - Seewinkel / Fertล‘-Hansรกg National Park, straddling the Austrian-Hungarian border.

Over five days, conservation practitioners from Transboundary Protected Areas across Europe are coming together to share knowledge, explore the landscape by e-bike and ferry, and shape best practices in cross-border grassland management.

๐Ÿ‘‰ From sodic grasslands and soda pans to grazing restoration sites on the Hungarian shore of Lake Neusiedl, participants will be getting their boots on the ground - and helping to lay the foundations for a landmark conference booklet on transboundary grassland management.

A big thank you to our hosts, Nationalpark Neusiedler See - Seewinkel and Fertล‘-Hansรกg Nemzeti Park, for bringing this community together in such a remarkable place.

This year's theme highlights that the planet is speaking to us: more extreme weather events are clear indications of a changing climate.

๐Ÿ’ช However, collective action is taking place across the planet, and are actively helping shape a more nature-postive future. World Environment Day 2026 reminds us that we still have time to change course.
