🌸 Holi Fest 2026 – A Colorful Celebration in Bremen 🌸

On 7th March 2026, Shaktya e.V successfully organized the Holi Fest 2026 at Bezirkssportanlage Volkmannstraße, Bremen. The event brought together approximately 700 participants, creating a vibrant celebration of colors, culture, and community spirit.

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mishra, President of Shaktya e. V., who highlighted the importance of Holi as a festival that symbolizes joy, unity, positivity, and intercultural harmony.

We were honored to welcome distinguished guests:

Antje Grotheer, President of the Bremische Bürgerschaft

✨ Guest of Honor:
Joydeep Roy, Consul at the Consulate General of India Hamburg

✨ Special Guests:
Arno Gottschalk (Member of the Bremen Parliament, SPD)
Sigrid Grönert (Member of the Bremen Parliament, CDU)

The program was gracefully moderated by Poulami Basu, who guided the event with warmth and enthusiasm.

Participants enjoyed a lively and festive atmosphere with DJ Vikash from Hamburg, whose energetic music added great excitement to the celebration. Guests also enjoyed tasty food, refreshing drinks, and joyful moments together, making the festival truly memorable.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Sportamt Bremen for providing the venue at Bezirkssportanlage Volkmannstraße.
