A small gesture can say a great deal about a partnership.💚

When we arrived at our partner school in Sweden as part of our Erasmus+ exchange, we were welcomed not only by our hosts but also by the German flag flying alongside the Swedish flag.

Throughout the week, our students experienced Swedish school life firsthand, participated in lessons, engaged in intercultural discussions, and formed new friendships across borders.

Experiences like these remind us that education is about more than classrooms and curricula. International partnerships help young people develop openness, understanding, and the confidence to engage with different perspectives.
We are grateful to our Swedish partners for their warm welcome and look forward to welcoming them to Braunschweig in April 2027.🤝

🌍 Sustainability in Action at CJD International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg
We just want to give a shout out to our Year 5 students who prepared the display that now proudly sits in our entrance hall. The design, creation and curation of the display was a collaborative project that took place after our primary students took part in a student-led learning initiative on sustainability in upper primary.
What I appreciate most is the big idea from the display, which is also written just in front of the boat, We are all in this together. Students took the initiative to spread awareness of the SDGs, sustainability and global issues. Love it!

What does a safe learning environment look like?
It looks like teachers who never stop learning.
Recently, our team rolled up their sleeves and completed first aid training, practicing skills such as wound care, slings, and emergency response techniques.
While the bandages and role-playing scenarios made for some fun photos, the purpose was serious: ensuring that we are prepared to support our students and colleagues whenever needed.
Because student wellbeing isn't just part of education. It's the foundation that makes learning possible.

🌍🚀 Eine aufregende Reise in die Welt der Teilchenphysik! Unser IB-Lehrer für Mathematik und Physik, Mr. Chan, hatte die außergewöhnliche Gelegenheit, an der International Teachers Week bei teilzunehmen. Neben Vorträgen von führenden Wissenschaftlern und Besuchen von Hightech-Detektoren wie ATLAS und ALICE konnte er lernen, wie man komplexe Physikthemen spannend im Unterricht vermittelt. Zurück als frisch ernannter CERN-Botschafter, bringt er jetzt wertvolles Wissen und neue Impulse in unsere Schule!

🎉🌍 DANKE! Im Jahr 2004 wurde unsere Internationale Schule in Braunschweig gegründet. Am 17. Juni feierten wir unser 20-jähriges Bestehen mit unserer Schulgemeinschaft und vielen lieben Gästen! Die International School Braunschweig – Wolfsburg ist die einzige Schule in der Region, die nach internationalen Lehrplänen unterrichtet. Der IB-Abschluss ist weltweit und in Deutschland anerkannt. Wir danken allen Unterstützer*innen und freuen uns auf die kommenden Jahre der Zusammenarbeit. Auf die nächsten 20 Jahre! Vielen herzlichen Dank!
