Introducing our new Chairperson! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau was elected as the new Chairperson of Philnetz e.V. at our General Assembly this past Sunday! She succeeds Emmalyn Liwag-Kotte, whom we deeply thank for her eight years of outstanding leadership and dedicated service. 👏

The election capped off an incredibly inspiring weekend— with an amazing Diaspora Dialogue just the day before, on Saturday, 17 October 2026. Dr. Grau represented Philnetz in the round-table discussions, organized by the Philippine Embassy in Berlin. At the closing session, she also spoke about how we can strengthen our collective voice.

Thanks everyone for your engagement and support!

It was a beautiful day. We reconnected with old friends and made new ones. We spoke our languages, shared our own concerns, and listened to the needs of others. We actively built and strengthened our community. We have big plans for the future and are taking concrete steps forward with us. We look back with satisfaction and confidence, and ahead with excitement for what is yet to come.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who helped with the preparation and organization of this event. Please visit our website at www.philnetz.de to stay updated on future projects.
We wish you all a wonderful week!
