On behalf of the German Embassy Manila, we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of German-born artist, cultural worker, and researcher Dr. Katrin de Guia. Her enduring commitment to Philippine-German cultural exchange, her artistic spirit, and her work bridging communities will remain a source of inspiration.

Last year, we had the honor of working with Dr. Katrin de Guia, where we had the unique opportunity to highlight her work on Filipino psychology in particular during a panel discussion alongside Filipino filmmakers. Our thoughts and sympathies are with her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
