HIKE4ALL weekend in Türkiye started today with excursion and creative workshop at Ziçev, centre for disadvantaged children in Antalya, and transfer to Egirdir lake to St. Paul's trail. Inclusive hikes are on tomorrow's programme.

Věděli jste, že pod velehradskou bazilikou se ukrývá tajuplný svět plný vzácných pokladů?
Až do konce října máte poslední možnost nahlédnout do místního podzemí, než ho pro tento rok na zimu uložíme ke spánku. Ať už vás láká historie, hledáte architektonické skvosty, nebo jen příjemné místo na podzimní výlet s rodinou, atmosféra tohoto místa vás dostane.
Při prohlídce uvidíte dochované románské kameny z 13. století, vzácnou Zlatou růži od papeže Jana Pavla II. i věrnou kopii legendárního Palladia země české. Podzemí dnes navíc tvoří unikátní galerii a klidné místo připomínající hrdiny i svědky víry 20. století.
Udělejte si čas, spojte prohlídku s procházkou po okolí a užijte si na Velehradě pohodový podzimní den!
Podzemí můžete navštívit ve všední dny v 10:00 a 14:00, o víkendech pak od 9:00 do 12:00 a od 13:00 do 16:00.

Did you know that beneath the Velehrad Basilica hides a mysterious world full of precious treasures?
Until the end of October, you have the last chance to peek into the local underground before we put it to sleep for the winter. Whether you’re drawn by history, looking for architectural gems, or just want a nice spot for a family autumn outing, the atmosphere of this place will captivate you.
During the tour, you’ll see preserved Romanesque stones from the 13th century, the rare Golden Rose from Pope John Paul II, and a faithful copy of the legendary Palladium of the Czech lands. Today, the underground also serves as a unique gallery and a peaceful place commemorating the heroes and witnesses of 20th-century faith.
Take some time, combine the tour with a walk around the area, and enjoy a relaxed autumn day at Velehrad!
You can visit the underground on weekdays at 10:00 and 14:00, and on weekends from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00.

V čem tkví síla cyrilometodějského odkazu pro dnešní Evropu? Proč je důležitý dialog a respekt k druhým? Jaké jsou a co znamenají evropské kulturní trasy? Jak mohou přispívat k mentální a fyzické pohodě? I o tom dnes debatovali tvůrci Cyril and Methodius Route s mladými lidi z 5 zemí, kteří pobývají týden v jižních Čechách díky programu Erasmus+. Aktivita je součástí projektu Your Trail to Mental Balance spolufinancovaného Evropskou unií. Děkujeme za pozvání mladým organizátorům z Active Vitorazsko z. s.🙂

What is the strength of the Cyril and Methodius legacy for today's Europe? Why is dialogue and respect for others important? What are and what do European cultural routes mean? How can they contribute to mental and physical well-being? The creators of the Cyril and Methodius Route discussed this today with young people from 5 countries, who are staying a week in South Bohemia thanks to the Erasmus+ program. The activity is part of the Your Trail to Mental Balance project co-financed by the European Union. We thank the young organizers from Active Vitorazsko z. s. for the invitation.🙂

After the summer break, HIKE4ALL is back on the trail!
On 25–26 September, HIKE4ALL project reached Cantabria, in Spain🇪🇸, along the Camino Lebaniego, bringing together local associations, institutions and European partners to explore one central question: what makes a walking route truly accessible to everyone? During the workshop, participants reflected together on universal accessibility, discrimination, personal autonomy, inclusion, equal opportunities, language and barriers, sharing experiences and good practices from the territories. Representatives of the Via Francigena (AEVF) and Pilegrimsleden - St. Olav Ways joined the event, strengthening the exchange between European Cultural Routes. And on the second day, inclusion moved from words to action: an inclusive hike along the Camino Lebaniego open to people with different abilities and backgrounds. HIKE4ALL at the Council of Europe Cultural Routes Forum!
On 23 - 25 September, was represented at the 15th Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in Yerevan, Armenia, dedicated this year to Education for Sustainable Heritage.
During the workshop on Culture, Accessibility and Inclusion, AEVF presented the HIKE4ALL project and our work to make hiking and cultural heritage experiences more accessible and inclusive.
We shared an experience with “Weekend on the Cyril nad Methodius Route”, contributing to the exchange of practical approaches to accessibility along Cultural Routes.
The Forum was also a great opportunity for an informal HIKE4ALL meeting between representatives of the Via Francigena, Pilegrimsleden - St. Olav Ways and Cyril and Methodius Route – exchanging updates, experiences and ideas for the next project activities. Slavnostní přijetí Kulturních stezek Rady Evropy na jerevanské radnici. Cyrilometodějská stezka se účastnila v silném zastoupení a s podporou ministerských zástupců z České a Slovenské republiky.

V Jerevanu začalo 15. výroční poradní fórum Kulturních stezek Rady Evropy! Tři dny nabité jednáními, přenosem dobrých praxí i poznáváním místní kultury letos hostí hrdá Arménie.
Cyrilometodějskou stezku reprezentují zástupci z Česka, Slovenska, Bulharska a Severní Makedonie. Dopoledne proběhlo na setkání 52 aktuálně uznaných stezek například představení prvního národního setkání kulturních stezek působících v Bulharsku, které se konalo letos v Plovdivu.

The 15th Annual Advisory Forum of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe has begun in Yerevan! Three days full of discussions, the transfer of good practices and getting to know local culture are hosted by proud Armenia this year.
The Cyril and Methodius Route is represented by representatives from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and North Macedonia. In the morning, the meeting of 52 currently recognized routes included, for example, the presentation of the first national meeting of cultural routes operating in Bulgaria held this year in Plovdiv.
