🚨 We have exciting news! 🎨💙

We are thrilled to announce our new project Colours of Solidarity!

Through this initiative, we aim to empower young people through art, mental wellbeing, creativity, and community connection. Together, we aim to create safe spaces for self-expression, strengthen inclusion and solidarity, and build bridges between local and migrant communities.

This project reflects our commitment to fostering wellbeing, active participation, and social inclusion by giving participants the opportunity to express themselves creatively, develop new skills, and build meaningful connections through art.

We can't wait to begin this journey, meet our participants, and share our workshops, creative activities, and the positive impact we are going to create together.

Building bridges for safer and fairer employment. 🤝

On the occasion of the International Day Against Human Trafficking, the YESOLP team had the honour of participating in the 'HOST' Project Multi-Stakeholder Roundtable: "From Barriers to Bridges: Advancing Fair Employment for Migrant Communities in Cyprus."

The event brought together representatives from government institutions, the European Union, civil society organisations, NGOs, the hospitality sector, survivor leaders, and migrant community organisations to exchange perspectives and strengthen collaboration in tackling labour exploitation, preventing human trafficking, and promoting fair, safe, and dignified employment for migrant communities in Cyprus.

Through insightful discussions and the sharing of good practices, participants explored ways to strengthen support systems, improve referral mechanisms, and foster partnerships that promote inclusion, protect the rights of migrant workers, and create safer pathways to employment.

At YESOLP, we believe that meaningful change is built through collaboration. We remain committed to working alongside partners to promote human rights, social inclusion, and equal opportunities, ensuring that every individual has the chance to live and work with dignity.

A sincere thank you to for the kind invitation and for organising such an important and impactful event, bringing together diverse stakeholders committed to advancing fair employment, protecting human rights, and strengthening collaboration across Cyprus.

YESOLP Is Here to Stay☺️

YESOLP (Youth Empowerment on Society and Life Pursuits) began as a grassroots vision to uplift young individuals. From the very start, our purpose has been clear:

1) Youth Empowerment: YESOLP serves as a dynamic hub for youth empowerment, creating a supportive space where young people can access vital resources, mentorship, and guidance. Through this environment, individuals are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their communities and beyond.

2) Foster Active Citizenship: Equip youth with the tools, non-formal education, and life pursuits necessary to lead positive change.

3) Safeguard the Future: Build non-judgmental, secure environments where diverse local and migrant youth can thrive together.

4) Cultivate Social Cohesion: Construct a unified community built on mutual respect, collaboration, and the firm belief that every young person matters.

Over the years, we have worked steadily, hosting several workshops, seminars, listening, mentoring, combating social exclusion, and bridging inclusion gaps. Step by step, our collective dedication transformed a humble dream into a powerful youth movement.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that YESOLP is officially registered! We are here to stay, to serve and more importantly to empower.

We Carry More Together

There are moments in life when we need a space to release what we carry , the burdens, worries, doubts, fears, and the silent challenges that weigh on our mental wellbeing. We Carry More Together, the Art Empowerment Workshop organised by YESOLP on 11/07/2026, offered exactly such a space.

Mental health matters. It shapes how we think, feel, connect, and navigate the realities before us. When we stand together, we truly carry more, because shared strength fosters resilience, social inclusion, and a sense of belonging. This workshop created a safe environment where youth from diverse backgrounds could express themselves openly, listen to one another, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Everyone had the opportunity to share real experiences, to be heard, and to understand the stories of others. In that shared space, art became a bridge connecting perspectives, easing emotional weight, and reminding us that healing often begins with community.

We deeply appreciate everyone who participated and contributed to making the evening a powerful and memorable one.

The Art Empowerment Workshop was organised by YESOLP under BIG Project vol. II.

Breaking the Silence - Mental Health Workshop.

On 30 May, YESOLP hosted Breaking the Silence, a mental health workshop delivered as part of the BIG Project vol. II, an initiative aimed at strengthening community well-being through practical learning, open dialogue, and shared experiences.

The workshop brought together people from different backgrounds and life experiences to reflect on mental health, stress, and emotional well-being. Through interactive activities and group discussions, participants had the opportunity to speak openly, exchange perspectives, and explore approaches that support healthier ways of coping and connecting.

Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to a thoughtful and meaningful conversation.
