To ΚυκλΟΙΚΟδρόμιο σε συνεργασία με την Κοινότητα Γιόλους / Giolou Village σας προσκαλεί σε ένα δημιουργικό Εργαστήριο Υφαντικής με Αργαλειό. Η παράδοση συναντά τη δημιουργικότητα και τη βιώσιμη χειροτεχνία.

📞 Οι δηλώσεις συμμετοχής είναι υποχρεωτικές, στο 22 66 77 58, μέχρι τις 28 Αυγούστου 2026.
Οι συμμετέχοντες ενθαρρύνονται να φέρουν μαζί τους παλιά υφάσματα, τα οποία θα αξιοποιηθούν δημιουργικά κατά τη διάρκεια του εργαστηρίου.
🧵 Παράλληλα, θα πραγματοποιηθεί και μια εισαγωγή στην τεχνική του σμιλιού (crochet).

Participants are encouraged to bring along old fabrics, which will be creatively reused during the workshop.

🏗️ From policy to practice: how do we turn Europe’s ambitions into real change?

Across Europe, climate, circular economy and building policies are reshaping the construction sector. But turning these ambitions into everyday practice requires more than regulation – it requires new approaches, new skills and stronger collaboration between policy, education and industry.

At the BuildSkills Academy Masterclass #2 in Berlin, project partners and invited experts will explore how European policies – including the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) – are influencing professional practice and the skills needed for sustainable construction.

The programme will connect policy with practical solutions, exploring circular construction, sustainable materials, digital material passports, structural reuse and energy-efficient renovation, alongside the implications of these changes for vocational education and training.

Through expert insights, real-world examples, workshops and knowledge exchange, participants will explore how Europe can better prepare its construction workforce for the green and digital transition.

Αντί για καταστροφή, προτεραιότητα δίνεται στην επαναχρησιμοποίηση, επισκευή, δωρεά και επαναδιάθεση των προϊόντων, διατηρώντας τα υλικά και τους πολύτιμους πόρους σε χρήση για περισσότερο χρόνο. ♻️
Μια σημαντική αλλαγή προς ένα πιο κυκλικό και βιώσιμο μοντέλο παραγωγής και κατανάλωσης.

🎁 Αυτό το καλοκαίρι, το ΚυκλΟΙΚΟδρομίο χάρισε εκατοντάδες μεταχειρισμένα παιχνίδια και παιδικά βιβλία σε πολυδύναμα κέντρα, στον Σύνδεσμο Αυτισμού Κύπρου, στο Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού, σε νηπιαγωγεία και σε άλλους οργανισμούς που στηρίζουν παιδιά και οικογένειες.

💚 Τίποτα από αυτά δεν θα ήταν δυνατό χωρίς τη δική σας στήριξη. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλους τους φίλους και υποστηρικτές του ΚυκλΟΙΚοδρόμιο που προσέφεραν παιχνίδια και βιβλία σε άριστη κατάσταση, δίνοντάς τους μια δεύτερη ζωή και χαρίζοντας χαμόγελα σε παιδιά που τα χρειάζονται.

The Centre for Lifelong Learning and the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics of the Cyprus University of Technology invite you to register for the ‘Bio-inspired Innovation and Design for Sustainable Engineering Solutions’ course.
This course explores how nature can inspire sustainable solutions for the built environment and engineering practice, introducing participants to the principles and methodology of biomimicry.

We are offering this course again in a more flexible and accessible format, combining one in-person session in Limassol with three online sessions, so that more people can take part more easily.

Sessions 2 - 4: online
🕒 Total duration: 17 hours
📚 Structure: 4 sessions

📚♻️ Ανοιχτή βιβλιοθήκη στη Γιόλου!
Σήμερα, το ΚυκλΟΙΚΟδρόμιο προσέφερε στην Κοινότητα Γιόλου μια Ανοιχτή Βιβλιοθήκη, έναν χώρο όπου μικροί και μεγάλοι μπορούν να δανειστούν, να ανταλλάξουν ή να δωρίσουν βιβλία — από παιδικά παραμύθια και εκπαιδευτικά βιβλία μέχρι μυθιστορήματα. 📖
Μια μικρή πρωτοβουλία με μεγάλο σκοπό: να προωθήσει την ανταλλαγή, την επαναχρησιμοποίηση ♻️ και πάνω απ’ όλα, την αγάπη για το βιβλίο και τη μάθηση. 💚
Με αυτή την όμορφη δράση, η Γιόλου γίνεται μία από τις πρώτες κοινότητες που αποκτούν Ανοιχτή Βιβλιοθήκη στην καρδιά της κοινότητας! Κοινότητα Γιόλου

Today, KyklOIKOdromio proudly donated an Open Library to the Community of Giolou, creating a space where everyone can borrow, share, and donate books — from children’s stories and educational books to novels.
A small initiative with a big purpose: promoting sharing, reuse, and a love of reading and learning. 💚📖

3 Ιουλίου | Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Χωρίς Πλαστική Σακούλα | International Plastic Bag Free Day

Μια πλαστική σακούλα μπορεί να μας εξυπηρετήσει για λίγα μόνο λεπτά, όμως οι επιπτώσεις της στο περιβάλλον διαρκούν πολύ περισσότερο.

Η σημερινή ημέρα είναι μια υπενθύμιση ότι οι πιο απλές αλλαγές στην καθημερινότητά μας μπορούν να έχουν πραγματικό αντίκτυπο. Επιλέγοντας μια επαναχρησιμοποιούμενη τσάντα, μειώνουμε τα πλαστικά απορρίμματα και συμβάλλουμε στην προστασία του περιβάλλοντος.

Κάθε επαναχρησιμοποιούμενη τσάντα μπορεί να αντικαταστήσει εκατοντάδες πλαστικές σακούλες μίας χρήσης.
