With a sold-out crowd, the Curaçao Lions Club assisted its Fundashon Duna e Mucha un Man with its annual Haring party, to raise funds and provide breakfast to 1200-1400 schoolkids every morning.

What a fantastic evening! Curacao Lions Club sold-out Haring Party 2026 was a tremendous success. Thank you to all our guests, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for making the event so special.

A special thank you to MCB for their donation of XCG 10,000 to our foundation Fundashon Duna Mucha un Man (school breakfast program) we are very grateful!

Today Curacao Lions Club celebrated their annual Senior Citizens Day. More than 200 senior citizens were treated to a wonderful day filled with music, dancing, delicious food, and refreshments. It was truly heartwarming to see so many happy faces and to watch our seniors enjoy themselves so much.

A special word of thanks goes to Fellow Lion Elrick and his team for the tremendous work they put into organizing this event. Their dedication and commitment made this day possible.

It was, without a doubt, a truly perfect day.

Today we celebrate the strength, grace, and quiet power of mothers everywhere. The protectors, the nurturers, the ones who lead with love and stand firm with courage. Just like the lioness who guards her cub with unwavering devotion, mothers shape the world one heart at a time.

To every mother in our community, thank you for the love you give, the lessons you teach, and the legacy you build. And to the Lion mothers among us, the women who balance family with service, who care for their own while caring for others, your example is what makes our club, and our island, stronger.

Curaçao Lions Club is proud to announce that Lion Alexis Daou has been inducted as Second Vice District Governor-elect of District 35N for the 2026–2027 term.

She was also honored with a Lions International Presidents award and medal in recognition of her outstanding service to District 35N.

Lion Leo Lemmens received the International President’s Award for his dedicated service, and Lion Don Hernandez was recognized with the Zone Chair Award for his outstanding contributions.

Congratulations to all recipients on these well-deserved achievements. A special thank you to District Governor Elizabeth Fisher and Council Chair-elect 2026–2027 Elbio Gimenez for their continued guidance and support.

Also congratulations to District Governor-elect 26/27 Gaston Correa and 1VDG-elect 26/27 Andy Curiel and thank you Fellow Lions from Curacao Lions Club, One Happy Island Aruba Lions club and Bonaire Lions Club who also attended the MD35 Convention in Orlando Florida.

This video was made in honor of the 80th anniversary of the the Curaçao Lions Club, and it does something that had never been done before: it documents eight decades of community service in one place.

What the Lions have built over that time speaks for itself, and this production gives it the record it deserves.

Trevor Bakhuis, a local sponsor, made it possible and also provided the narration and voice recording throughout.
