Organization for support and promotion of s*x and gender variant persons. Moje ime je Kristian Ranđelović. Svaka priča o organizaciji počinje nečim ličnim.

Pre nekoliko godina, počeo sam da imam zdravstvene probleme i tada sam osetio da moje telo funkcioniše drugačije od onog što mi je do tada bilo poznato. Tada sam i prvi put otkrio koliko zapravo ne poznajem sebe i da zbog odsustva potrebnih i neophodnih informacija patim. Stoga sam pokušao da sve što znam povežem u jednu smislenu celinu, koja će biti razumljiva i dostupna i drugim ljudima. Jedan o

d rezultata te inicijative je i XY Spectrum. U međuvremenu, upoznao sam nekoliko interpolnih ljudi sa kojima sam uspeo da se povežem i uz njihovu pomoć razumem gde sam ja u svemu tome. Upoznao sam i jednu posebnu osobu, u Srbiji, koja se sa svojom telesnom istorijom bori na polju identiteta i problemima u partnerskim odnosima. Ti susreti su me puno naučili i obogatili moj život, ali i inspirisali da nastavim sa prikupljanjem informacija i prenošenje znanja široj društvenoj zajednici, kao i ukazivanjem o položaju interpolnih osoba u Srbiji, i šire. Sve ta iskustva su me navela da pokrenem organizaciju, vođen željom da primenim drugačiji pristup trans zajednici. Moja lična borba je tako postala deo šire priče i otvorila prostor za učenje i podršku za sve koji se svaki dan bore s sličnim nedoumicama i problemima. Svim interpolnim osobama kojima je potrebno da upoznaju i bolje razumeju sebe, svim prijateljima koji su tu da pruže podršku i utehu, kažem s osmehom: dobrodošli u XY Spectrum.

Borba za prava interseks osoba je konstanta - jer čak i kad se određena prava dostignu, vrlo lako mogu da se izgube. Primer je Portugal - koji je jedna od najprogresivnijih država u Evropi u domenu prava trans i interseks osoba, i u čijem su se parlamentu našla tri zakona koji ova prava mogu znatno ugroziti.
