Aujourd’hui, Journée mondiale de l’aide humanitaire, nous rendons hommage à toutes celles et ceux qui apportent secours, espoir et dignité aux personnes confrontées à l’épreuve.
Depuis plus de 25 ans, MTN Cameroon a le privilège de se tenir aux côtés des communautés dans les moments difficiles, les situations d’urgence et les phases de reconstruction.
En cette Journée mondiale de l’aide humanitaire, nous réaffirmons notre engagement: partout où cela est possible, nous continuerons à connecter, soutenir et accompagner le peuple camerounais. Nous avons été là, nous sommes là, et nous continuerons à être là.

AgricFresh, innovation camerounaise et premier lauréat du Africa PachiPanda Challenge est sur la scène mondiale !

La startup cofondée par Afopezi Moses et Justin Ghislain Etogo Ngah figure parmi les 10 finalistes du World Food Prize Innovate for Impact Challenge 2026. AgricFresh est, à ce stade de la compétition, le seul représentant de l’Afrique.

Cette compétition internationale met en lumière des startups développant des solutions innovantes pour renforcer la sécurité alimentaire et promouvoir une agriculture plus durable, inclusive et résiliente.

Une performance marquant une nouvelle étape dans le parcours entrepreneurial d’Afopezi Moses et ses coéquipiers. En plus d'être double vainqueur du tout premier Cameroon PachiPanda Innovation Challenge de l'Africa PachiPanda Innovation Challenge en 2025, il s'était déjà distingué en 2023 avec lors du MTN Y’ello Digital Talent Inter-University Competition organisé par la Fondation MTN Cameroon avec le projet Skolarr.

Aujourd’hui, à travers AgricFresh, ces jeunes entrepreneurs portent avec ambition l’innovation camerounaise et africaine sur la scène mondiale.

MTN Cameroon adresse ses chaleureuses félicitations à Moses, Justin et à toute l’équipe AgricFresh, et leur souhaite plein succès pour la suite de cette aventure internationale.

AgricFresh, a Cameroonian innovation and the first winner of the Africa PachiPanda Challenge, is taking the global stage!

The startup, co-founded by Afopezi Moses and Justin Ghislain Etogo Ngah, is among the 10 finalists of the 2026 World Food Prize Innovate for Impact Challenge. At this stage of the competition, AgricFresh is the only representative from Africa.

This international competition spotlights startups developing innovative solutions to strengthen food security and promote more sustainable, inclusive and resilient agriculture.

This achievement marks another milestone in the entrepreneurial journey of Afopezi Moses and his teammates. In addition to winning both the inaugural Cameroon PachiPanda Innovation Challenge and the Africa PachiPanda Innovation Challenge in 2025, he had already distinguished himself in 2023 during the MTN Y’ello Digital Talent Inter-University Competition, organised by the MTN Cameroon Foundation, with the Skolarr project.

Today, through AgricFresh, these young entrepreneurs are proudly taking Cameroonian and African innovation to the global stage. MTN Cameroon warmly congratulates Moses, Justin and the entire AgricFresh team and wishes them every success as they continue this international journey.

MTN Cameroon was proud to attend the closing ceremony of Digital Innovation Week 2026, hosted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications under the leadership of Minister Minette Libom Li Likeng.

Out of 631 applications, 20 finalists were selected by a jury chaired by Ms. Tahiry Rakotoheriana, ITU Representative for Central Africa and Madagascar, to compete for prizes worth over FCFA 50 million.

By standing alongside these young innovators, MTN Cameroon reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Government's digital transformation vision and empowering the talent building Cameroon’s digital future.

MTN Cameroon a pris part à la cérémonie de clôture de la Semaine de l’Innovation Numérique 2026, organisée par le Ministère des Postes et Télécommunications sous la présidence de Madame Minette Libom Li Likeng.

Parmi 631 candidatures, 20 finalistes ont été sélectionnés par un jury présidé par Mme Tahiry Rakotoheriana, Représentante de l'UIT pour l'Afrique centrale et Madagascar, pour concourir à des prix d'une valeur de plus de 50 millions FCFA.

Aux côtés de ces jeunes innovateurs, MTN Cameroon réaffirme son engagement à soutenir la vision du Gouvernement en faveur de la transformation numérique et à accompagner les talents qui bâtissent l'avenir numérique du Cameroun.

MTNC Foundation joined His Excellency Mr. Mandla Langa, South African High Commissioner to Cameroon, to commemorate Nelson Mandela International Day by donating ICT equipment and office furniture to Let's Build Africa, a Cameroonian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people through leadership, digital skills, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Together, we continue to create opportunities, empower the next generation and build a brighter future for Africa.

Looking back on a meaningful moment in Japoma, during the 21 Days of Y'ello Care.

The Women Development Programme of MTN Cameroon joined hands with women from the Bakoko community and Her Majesty Larissa Madiba Songue, the Queen of Bakoko, at the construction site of the biomedical laboratory at Japoma District Hospital.

It was more than an activity on site, it was a moment of connection, solidarity, and shared purpose, where every exchange reflected care for the community and commitment to better health for all.

A beautiful reminder that when women come together, they don’t just participate, they transform.

Retour sur un moment riche de sens à Japoma, pendant le 21 Days of Y'ello Care.

Les femmes du Women Development Programme de MTN Cameroon ont uni leurs forces à celles des femmes de la communauté Bakoko et de Sa Majesté Larissa Madiba Songue, la Reine des Bakoko, sur le chantier du laboratoire d’analyses biomédicales de l’Hôpital de District de Japoma.

Bien plus qu’une activité sur le terrain, cette rencontre a été un véritable moment de partage, de solidarité et d’engagement en faveur d'un meilleur accès à la santé pour les communautés.

Parce que lorsque des femmes s’unissent autour d’une même ambition, elles contribuent à bâtir un avenir meilleur.
