HUMANITARIAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE DOHA
Les 8 et 9 avril dernier, nous avons participé à la Conférence sur le Leadership Humanitaire à Doha, au Qatar. Cette conférence était organisée par le Centre d'études sur les conflits et l'aide humanitaire de l'Université de Doha, en collaboration avec le Center for Humanitarian Leadership de l'Université Deakin en Australie. AHH a été choisi parmi 150 autres dossiers pour organiser et animer un atelier interactif (workshop) sur le rôle des techniques hypno-neuro-imaginatives dans le renforcement du leadership humanitaire en temps de polycrise. La Conférence avait comme objectif de servir de plateforme pour élaborer de nouvelles visions et des initiatives audacieuses capables d'avoir un impact sur les changements concrets sur le terrain.
Dans un contexte où les crises s’enchevêtrent – conflits, changement climatique, précarité économique – il devient essentiel de proposer des approches qui permettent aux acteurs locaux de se reconnecter à leurs propres ressources, d’oser des solutions créatives, et d’assumer pleinement leur rôle de leaders.
Le workshop de AHH a permis d'expliquer comment ces techniques peuvent accompagner les femmes, souvent au cœur des réseaux de soin et de soutien communautaire, à faire émerger leur potentiel de leadership. La santé mentale des enfants a également été un sujet fort. Soutenir leur bien-être émotionnel aujourd’hui, c’est investir dans les capacités de résilience et de reconstruction de la prochaine génération. Plus de 250 leaders et experts ont participé à la Conférence ainsi que 200 personnes online.

HUMANITARIAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE DOHA
On April 8–9, we participated in the Humanitarian Leadership Conference in Doha, Qatar. This event was organized by the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies at Doha University in collaboration with the Center for Humanitarian Leadership at Deakin University, Australia. AHH was selected from over 150 submissions to lead an interactive workshop on the role of hypno-neuro-imaginative techniques in strengthening humanitarian leadership in times of polycrisis.
The conference aimed to serve as a platform for developing new visions and bold initiatives capable of having a tangible impact on the ground.
In a context where crises are increasingly overlapping — conflicts, climate change, economic insecurity — it is essential to offer approaches that help local actors reconnect with their inner resources, embrace creative solutions, and fully step into their roles as leaders.
AHH’s workshop explored how these techniques can support women — often at the heart of care networks and community support — in unlocking their leadership potential. The mental health of children was also a key focus. Supporting their emotional well-being today is an investment in the resilience and recovery capacity of the next generation.
More than 250 leaders and experts attended the conference in person, with an additional 200 joining online.
