Our Fellows have officially raised over $3B in venture funding. 🚀

That’s not a number we take lightly. Behind it are hundreds of founders who joined our community early in their journey and went on to build category-defining companies.

Just this year, that includes raises from Malte, Nathan, Sophia, Felipe, Cameron, David, Nick, and Ben - alongside acquisitions, prominent media features, and countless other wins across the community.

50 attendees. 2 inspiring days. One global gathering of ambition - our first-ever Sigma Squared Society Africa Summit has officially wrapped up! 🇰🇪

We brought together Sigma Fellows from across the globe in Nairobi - the safari capital of the world - for a summit filled with honest conversations, real insights, and the kind of connections that only happen when driven founders are in the same room. ⭐️
️
➡️ Over two days of panels and interactive sessions, we dove into the continent’s startup ecosystem, the opportunities ahead, and the need for Africa’s brightest minds to solve the continent’s most difficult challenges.

➡️ We explored the behind-the-scenes stories from founders who have exited their companies, the difficult moments throughout their journeys, and what it really takes to form an exit strategy.

➡️ One standout conversation explored the contrast between expanding into Africa from other continents versus scaling globally beyond Africa - with two founders both building in agriculture but approaching it from opposite starting points

The summit was preceded by a co-working week at iHUB Nairobi, one of Nairobi’s leading innovation hubs and a valued partner. Fellows balanced getting serious work done with exploring the local ecosystem, going on safaris, and bonding with fellow entrepreneurs from every corner of the world. 🦁💻

What a year it’s been for the Sigma Squared Society! As we close out 2025, we’re grateful for the moments that brought our global community together and inspired us to keep building boldly. 🎊⭐️

This year, we welcomed 152 new Fellows across 35 countries into our community, strengthening a truly global network of founders and leaders. One growing community, capped off by a landmark Global Summit in Valencia and our first-ever LatAm Summit in Argentina.
