We're ecstatic to announce our first headliner for Deep Roots Music Festival this year: Matt Andersen.

When Matt Andersen steps on stage, he brings a lifetime of music to every note he plays. His latest album, The Hammer & The Rose, is a veritable garden of heart; a (mostly) delicate collection of tender folk and stirring soul numbers that find the New Brunswick-born songwriter thoughtfully tending to the most important things in life.

Deep Roots will be hiring an Assistant Festival Coordinator from late May through August 31st under the Summer Student program. The Assistant Festival Coordinator is the hub of the entire Festival committee structure; work focuses on sponsor liaison, office management, communications, and database management.

To qualify for this position, you must be returning to post-secondary studies in September 2026.

The Deep Roots Music Cooperative Board of Directors is pleased to invite you to the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cooperative. We will meet in person at the West Brooklyn Community Hall. The meeting is scheduled for February 8th (storm date - February 15th), from 2:00 - 3:30 with an open jam session afterwards, so bring your instruments!
