“Seriously, cannot a girl not have some privacy!” Not around here, and when you are that cute!
Rooty prefers the finer bathing styles, no mud wallows for this lady!
I will never forget the day that Rooty and her “sister”, Princess arrived. They were just living about 10 minutes from us, but their people were moving away.
Rooty sat in the doorway of the barn, her eyes looked so sad, and it broke our hearts. We promised her that she was home, and so loved. She is now a senior, and enjoys the relaxed life…I think she may have always leaned that way.
Rooty’s eyes are so beautiful and full of life now, the light shines through, and brightens our hearts.
We love you so much, Rooty❤️❤️

Bubba is extremely proud of his newly created wallow. We have so many wallows at Dara, but Bubba, and a few of his buddies decided that we needed another one in the front yard, opposite to the bigs wallow❤️❤️.

Miss Apple had a big concern today, and had to tell me all about it! There are too many folks coming in and taking a nap in her room during the day!
I have noticed that her room has been quite popular lately. I tried to convince her that she had her pigloo to sleep in, and the others just enjoyed her company and wanted to be close. She reluctantly accepted this explanation, I mean who is she to argue how great she is to be around? ❤️. (And so adorable)

Miss Sophie is a sweet, shy lady, and so adorable ❤️
I was doing waters this morning, and when I was in Sophie and Sadie’s place, I could hear some chatter behind their house. Allyson and Sophie were sharing an apple ❤️.
These are the moments that make me so happy. We are so blessed to have volunteers, that love the folks so much. They often show up with treats for the folks, and always love them.
So grateful for the volunteers who are so faithful, and wonderful❤️, and for the folks who are so loving, and whose incredible hearts keep inviting people back.

The beautful and spunky, Miss Charlotte! We were enjoying the warm sunshine, after yesterdays all day rain.
Miss Charlotte arrived at Dara shortly after we moved to Wheatley.
Charlotte has been known to chase a volunteer or two around while they were housekeeping! She does it in love❤️.
And she is a queen for belly rubs❤️
She shares her house with Wils, they both arrived about the same time. A couple of weeks after they arrived, we found them cuddled up for a nap, and that was that ❤️❤️
Charlotte, we love you so much!

We thought we would continue with another one if the OP’s today. This is the very handsome Willem❤️. As you may know, Marco is from the Netherlands, so of course we had to name one of the folks after the King of the Netherlands, who also shares a birthday with Marco 🥳.
Willem, arrived with his mom, Molly, and his siblings, Charlotte, Eddy and Charlie.
They were just little piglets when they arrived, and true to Dara’s story, they arrived when we will still lived in Corunna, the garage was full with Kevin, Rosie and Petunia, so the little family lived in our garden shed for a few days until we moved to the farm.
Willem, his mom, and siblings are all still here, enjoying life. Willem and his brothers and sister are never far from each other. There is a large shelf for storage in the barn, that they clear everything off of the bottom shelf, and sleep there during the day. Whatever works😂
Willem is a true gentleman, sweet and kind. We love you so much, Willem!
