OSCAR BC 2026 Annual General Meeting & Guest Speaker Event Moves to FREE ACCESS VIRTUAL Format

Unfortunately, due to lower-than-anticipated in-person ticket sales, we have made the decision to transition the event to a virtual format instead of gathering in person this year.

While we’re disappointed that we won’t be able to connect face-to-face, we’re still very excited to bring the OSCAR Community together online for an engaging and educational function.

The date and time will remain the same - less the luncheon - with a short but informative OSCAR BC 2026 AGM, followed by a special presentation by Dr. Kathleen Ross on Bill S-5 (Connected Care for Canadians), and a short update on eReferrals by Dr. Tommy Gerschman.

There is NO FEE to register for this as a virtual event.

- Common measurements: height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, etc.
- How data feeds into eForms, clinical decision support, and reporting
- Best practices for entry and maintenance

The session will be interactive, garnering input from participants about their experiences with and questions about measurements in OSCAR. Participants are encouraged to submit questions here in their registration, as well as bringing them to the session discussions.

If you are new to OSCAR or the basics of Measurements in OSCAR, we also recommend that you watch the short video "QuickClips - Charting Measurements Basics, w Dr. John Yap" prior to this session.
