If Mother Nature decides to send us a little liquid sunshine on Sunday (June 14), our Music in the Park event will still go ahead! Kyra and Tully will be moving next door to Wellington United Church and will kick things off at 2 p.m. We'll still have: BBQ hotdogs; free face painting for the kids; amazing live music and a great afternoon with family and friends. So don't let a few raindrops keep you away! Whether we're in the park or in the church, we're looking for ward to a fantastic afternoon of music and community.

Join the PEC Lions on Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 in Wellington Park on Main Street for a special family-friendly afternoon of live music featuring Kyra & Tully. This talented folk duo has toured and performed across Canada, the U.S. and Europe, sharing the stage with acclaimed artists including Bruce Cockburn, Jenn Grant, and Matt Andersen, among others. Their engaging performances, beautiful harmonies, and heartfelt songwriting make for an afternoon you won't want to miss. Free face painting for the kids and of course BBQ hotdogs, As always, admission is free, and free-will donations are gratefully accepted to help support our Music in the Park series. Bring your lawn chair, your family and friends, and join us for a wonderful Sunday afternoon of music, fun and community!

What a fantastic start to our Music in the Park season! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy The Reasons with us. The park was packed with an incredible crowd, and the energy was amazing from start to finish. It was wonderful to see so many people dancing, singing along, and enjoying a beautiful evening together. Your support was overwhelming! Thank you for making our first event of the season such a tremendous success. We can't wait to see you all again at our next event, a special Sunday afternoon with Kyra and Tully starting at 2 p.m. on June 14th. Stay tuned for more great music, community spirit and summer fun!

The wait is over! The Lion's first Music in the Park event of the season takes place Tuesday, June 9th starting at 6:30 pm in the park on Main Street in Wellington. Put your dancing shoes on and get ready to rock with the Reasons! We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another fantastic summer of music!

Another successful Lions year has come to a close. We recently celebrated the installation of our 2026-27 executive, welcomed new member Barb to our club, recognized outstanding service through awards presentations, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with fellow Lions and guests. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year such a success!
