It was a great evening of connecting with fellow business professionals and learning more about the important work Caithkin does to support children, youth, and families in our community.

A special thank you to Ainslie, Kara, and the team for welcoming us and sharing their knowledge about the services they provide and the difference they make.

We were able to hear firsthand from a volunteer driver about her experience and how easy it can be to give a little of your time to make a difference. Even helping out occasionally, when your schedule allows, can have a meaningful impact!

Were you unable to attend? There are still ways to learn more and get involved!

If you would like to learn more about Caithkin, the services they offer, or becoming a foster parent, Kara would be happy to connect with you. If you have some extra time and would like to volunteer as an occasional driver, this is another wonderful way to give back to our community.

The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce & Tourism would like to thank everyone who joined us for our business-focused Election Debate.

We were pleased to have 82 business owners pre-register, with an additional 16 business owners registering at the door.

Thank you to the local businesses and community members who took the time to attend, participate, and show their interest in the future of Wasaga Beach.

A special thank you to the candidates who accepted our invitation and participated in the evening. Your willingness to engage in these important conversations and share your perspectives on the issues affecting our local business community is appreciated.

We believe that bringing candidates and our business community together is an important step toward building a stronger Wasaga Beach.

Your Business. Your Vote. Your Future.

Wasaga Beach business owners, have you registered yet?

Join the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Municipal Election Business Debate tonight, Wednesday, October 7 at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex.

This evening is an opportunity to connect with candidates, ask questions and hear directly about the issues that matter to Wasaga Beach businesses.

Please note the evening schedule:

5:30 PM – Doors Open

6:15 PM – Chamber welcome and Councillor candidate introductions

6:45 PM – Deputy Mayoral Debate

7:25 PM – Intermission

7:45 PM – Mayoral Debate

9:05 PM – Chamber closing remarks

Council and School Board Trustee candidates will be available at individual tables before the debate, giving business owners the opportunity to meet candidates, ask questions and connect directly.

Questions for the Mayoral and Deputy Mayoral debates have been submitted in advance by registered business owners for consideration by the Chamber Board.

This event is open to Wasaga Beach business owners only, and pre-registration is required.
