🏒 📋 Wasaga Beach Minor Hockey has been selected to host a one‑day, in‑person Coach – Development 1 Clinic this summer!

This clinic is ONLY for coaches who do not currently hold the *Coach – Development 1 qualification.
If you already have Development 1 Trained or Not‑Renewed status, this clinic is not applicable.

🗓 Sunday, July 19, 2026
📍 Wasaga Stars Arena — 544 River Road West, Wasaga Beach
⏰ Registration: 7:30 AM
⏱ Duration: 10.5 hours
❄️ On‑Ice Session: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

100% attendance is mandatory to receive the qualification.

🎓 Before You Register

To sign up, the following must be completed in advance:

- Hockey Canada Skills – Checking (online)
- Hockey Canada Coaching Program – Development 1 (online)

If you previously completed the HU – ONLINE Checking course, you do not need to retake the Skills – Checking course.

Registration closes the Thursday night before the clinic.

👥 Eligibility & Requirements

- Ages 16+
- Minimum 20 / Maximum 40 attendees
- Must be 19+ to be an approved Head Coach on a roster
- A $25 admin fee may apply for cancellations or date changes
- Background check: Not mandatory for clinic attendance

🎯 Outcome
Upon completing the full day, coaches will receive their Development 1 – Trained qualification.
Please allow up to 24 hours for it to appear in your HCR profile.
