The Veracruz Folkloric Ballet is a project that actively participates in the dissemination of culture, bringing a rich showcase of Mexican folklore to all audiences. This group was founded in 1990 by Professor Ángel Ciro Silvestre García. They have represented the State Government and institutions such as the Veracruz Institute of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Education and Culture at national and international events throughout Mexico, France, Spain, Singapore, Italy, Cuba, Venezuela, Turkey, Canada, and the USA.
The Veracruz Folkloric Ballet has its own musical section called the Veracruz Folkloric Ensemble, founded by Maestro José Demetrio Fernández Morales, which provides the music for all its artistic programs.
The management team ensures that all members of the Veracruz Folkloric Ballet not only learn musical and dance routines but also the principles of self-discipline, responsibility, and dedication to their work, driven by the desire to share their culture with all audiences.
Pride in their roots is another quality embraced by all the young people in this group, which assures the audience that they will see one of the best examples of Mexican stage dance.
