Some politicians show up at election time. Steven Del Duca never left.
Long before he was our mayor, Steven was fighting for Vaughan. He started a grassroots group to get more of our neighbours voting. He helped raise money for our hospital before it had walls. As our MPP and as Ontario’s Minister of Transportation, he pushed for the projects that are reshaping how we live: the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, the Highway 427 extension, more GO train service, and the Yonge North Subway Extension. Vaughan is his home. He’s raising his family here, and it shows in how he fights for it.
Since becoming mayor in 2022, he has bent over backwards for our community. He has taken on the issues that keep families up at night: gridlock that steals hours from our day, the wave of auto thefts and break-ins, and property taxes that squeeze seniors and young families. He hasn’t hidden behind procedure or partisanship. He works with anyone, of any party, at any level of government, if it gets results for Vaughan.
He even sent a hand signed birthday certificate to my elderly father wishing him a Happy and Healthy 90th birthday.
That’s the kind of mayor Steven is. He listens. He follows through. And he never forgets who he works for.
Vaughan is growing fast, and the next four years will shape it for a generation. We need a mayor who knows how to get roads, transit, and health care built, keeps our streets safe, and keeps life affordable. Steven Del Duca has proven he’s that leader.
On October 26, join me in re-electing Mayor Steven Del Duca. Let’s keep Vaughan moving. Please remind your friends and family to vote too!
