ontent and activities – including our Wild Wire Blog, Podcast, Wildlife Adoptions, and environmental Missions and Challenges – all accessed through our innovative member portal, the Earth Rangers App. One of the most powerful aspects of the Membership Program is the sense of ownership our members feel over it as they begin to self-identify as Earth Rangers, sending us updates on their experience and signing off as “Ranger Julia” or “Ranger Ahmed”.

Drones, ducklings, and discoveries!🦆

Thanks to Earth Rangers who adopted a mallard, the team at Ducks Unlimited Canada was able to do tons of exciting work in wetlands across the Canadian Prairies to learn how nearby farming affects ducks and their habitats.

From counting mallards with drones to collecting water samples, searching for tiny insects, and using hidden cameras and sound recorders, every clue helps researchers better understand how to protect the wetlands ducks depend on.

(Le français suit) The Nature Education Collective is kicking off the first of four Nature-Based Education Teacher Retreats this week in New Brunswick!

Educators from across the region are building foundational skills in Nature-Based Education and developing the leadership needed to become champions in their schools and school divisions. These dedicated teachers are becoming the guides who help children connect with nature, cultivate curiosity, and deepen their learning through meaningful nature-based experiences.

Des éducateurs et éducatrices de toute la région développent leurs connaissances fondamentales en éducation par la nature et renforcent leur leadership afin de promouvoir l'apprentissage par la nature dans leurs écoles et leurs divisions scolaires. Ces enseignants deviennent des guides qui aident les enfants à créer un lien avec la nature, à nourrir leur curiosité et à approfondir leurs apprentissages grâce à des expériences significatives en nature.
