🌟 Hi Families! 🌟

We are happy to announce our new Snack Program at EarlyON Family Resource Centre on Main Street!

Through this program, we will be offering healthy snacks along with nutrition tips and information to support children and families in making healthy food choices.

This week we have been exploring both sand and water play. In these photos a child was experimenting with pouring sand from different heights and speeds, watching to see how much and how quickly the sand poured out. They used buckets to dig fill pour and stir. Finally they used their hands to make their handprint in the sand.

Not only can sand be a calming activity for many, it also provides opportunities for building math and numeracy skills.
