Join the LRCA and Municipality of Neebing during weigh-in at the Little Trout Bay Fishing Derby on Saturday, August 22!

Neebing Fire Rescue Association will be hosting a community BBQ from 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in support of so come down to Little Trout, grab some food, and see which angling team comes out on top this year! 🎣🎣🎣

🚧 NOTE: The Little Trout Bay Conservation Area Boat Launch will have EXTREMELY LIMITED AVAILABILITY during the event. Limited parking available. 🚧

Firewood Raffle ticket sales were very successful at Canadian Tire yesterday especially after we added our firewood raffle sign! NFRA will be back at the store on August 27th. Spread the word and let’s make sure this a sell out.
FYI- The first 30 km of delivery is included in the prize from Chaschuk’s location on Barrie Rd. Delivery over 30km is $150 for every 30 km. This is arranged by the winner

NEWS FLASH! NFRA volunteers will be at Scoble Landfill tomorrow afternoon ( Sunday August 16) from Noon to 4pm selling wood raffle tickets!
Bring cash. 1 for $10, 3 for $25 or a full book of 10 for $85.

Well deserved thank you.

We want to thank the more than 20 volunteer municipal firefighters who worked alongside MNR FireRangers to suppress the Thunder Bay 58 wildland fire.

With crews from six municipal fire departments, this response is an outstanding example of the collaboration, teamwork and commitment that help keep Ontario communities safe.

Volunteers from the following departments played a key role in the response:
• Neebing Emergency Services
• Nolalu Fire Rescue and First Response
• Gillies Fire Rescue
• O'Connor Volunteer Fire Department
• Oliver Paipoonge Fire & Emergency Services
• Thunder Bay Fire Rescue

We’re grateful for the dedication of fire crews across the province and for the communities that come together to help protect Ontario.
