Sandholm Hall AGM – Join Us!

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Sandholm Hall.

We’re inviting all community members to attend, get involved, and help shape the future of our hall. Memberships are available for $20, and your support truly makes a difference in keeping our community space active and thriving.

We are also currently seeking a new President — a great opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in our community.

Only two days left to get your tickets for Taste of the Lake at the Sandholm Corner Store . Each ticket includes admission, one free beer or wine, and entry into the door prize draw.

If we don’t sell out in advance, we will have tickets available at the door — but once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’re planning to attend, we strongly recommend picking up your ticket ahead of time to secure your spot.

It’s shaping up to be a great night at Sandholm Hall with warm food, cold drinks, and fantastic entertainment.

Cold weather won’t stop the fun. Even with temperatures expected to drop to -23°C this week, Taste of the Lake is still on, and it will be warm and cozy inside Sandholm Hall.

Warm up with:
• Chili and a bun
• Hot pretzels with cheese sauce
• And of course, cold drinks that will keep your spirits warm

Tickets are available for purchase at the Sandholm Corner Store .
Your ticket includes admission, one free beer or wine, and entry into the door prize draw.

Bundle up for the walk from your car, but once you step inside, you’ll find a welcoming, lively atmosphere and a great night ahead.

Taste of the Lake: Your 2025 Lineup

We’re getting closer to our 2nd annual Taste of the Lake, and we’re thrilled to share this year’s vendor and entertainment lineup. It’s a wonderful mix of local flavours, homemade specialties, and community talent — the kind of evening that makes Sandholm Hall feel warm and welcoming in the heart of December.

This year’s vendors include:
• Wallbanger Distillery
• Trackside Distillery
• Range Road Roasters Coffee
• Herrington Honey
• Reclaim Organics
• Village Oven Bakery
• Tree Stand Beef Jerky
• Locally made pickles
• Locally crafted chocolates

Entertainment for the evening:
• Joy Bailey – Pianist
• Lakedell Line Dance Crew
• Donna Ingram – Fiddler
• Brian Link – Comedy

And of course, the whole night will be guided by the warm and familiar voice of our returning MC, Cory Kimm.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 13, and it’s shaping up to be a festive, lively evening filled with great company, good food, and the down-home charm our community is known for.

A Little Taste of What’s Coming…

Our 2nd annual Taste of the Lake is shaping up to be a beautiful evening at Sandholm Hall, and we thought we’d share just a small peek at what’s in store.

And the entertainment lineup is just as special. You’ll see everything from lively line dancers and talented fiddlers to piano performances, a stand-up comedian, and a wonderful MC you may already know — Cory Kimm from up! 99.3 FM.

Taste of the Lake Tickets Are Now Available

We’re happy to share that tickets for this year’s Taste of the Lake are officially on sale. You can purchase yours for $20 at the Sandholm Corner Store .

Each ticket includes:

You may notice that the printed tickets list the date as December 18. The event is in fact on Saturday, December 13, and we hope people will understand the printing error.

We’re getting ready for our 2nd annual Taste of the Lake on Friday, December 13 from 3–8 PM at Sandholm Hall, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

We’re on the lookout for local vendors, artisans, bakers, musicians, and entertainers who want to share their talents and help make this year’s event even more special.

Taste of the Lake is all about celebrating community — good food, good music, and good company. It’s a volunteer-driven event, so we’re grateful to everyone who donates their time and talents to make the day shine.

Taste of the Lake – Save the Date!

Mark your calendars, friends — Taste of the Lake is back for its 2nd year!

After such a wonderful turnout last year, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Sandholm Hall on Friday, December 13 from 3–8 PM for another cozy afternoon of good food, local talent, and community spirit.

Hot Dogs and Hayrides is coming up soon! Can't wait to see you all on Saturday!!

We are so excited to host our second annual Hot Dogs and Hayrides! Our board has come together with the support of Leduc County ! This is a free family event! See below for details.
- trailer hay rides from 2:30-3:30pm
- bon fire and marshmallow roast
- oilers game projected inside
- hot dog dinner and hot chocolate
- candy toss for the kids
Children must have an adult in attendance. This event is a free family event. Please bring a bag of candy for the candy toss. Donations are welcome. To volunteer your time or if you have any questions, please reach out to us on facebook!
