By applying our methodology… Sportball helps children to develop socially as well as physically, through a curriculum designed to reinforce self-confidence free from the pressure of competition. In our Multi-Sport programs, children from 16 months to 12 years of age, are provided with a skills-driven, high-energy and fun-filled curriculum. Multi-Sport instruction

introduces children to the fundamental concepts and skills behind eight popular sports: soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf & football. Using creative instruction and positive encouragement, our programs focus on the development of gross motor skills, along with balance, strength, co-ordination, stamina and timing. The equipment that we use is age-appropriate and sized just right for the children in our programs. Sportball offers weekly classes that are run seasonally, as well as camps and clinics during school holidays. Birthday parties and special events can be arranged to fit into your schedule. We offer Sportball programs right in the community in churches, community centres, schools, daycares, private clubs, parks and other green spaces. In our Sportball Fitkids program, kids aged 6–12 are introduced to fitness through our fun, functional fitness curriculum. Building on our strength in non-competitive sports instruction, we have developed a new program that will help children improve their overall fitness and health. By incorporating key body movements, this integrated functional training program will help to build flexibility, stability, agility, balance and core strength. Les enfants de 16 mois à 12 ans sont pourvus d’un curriculum des plus dynamiques et amusants, axé sur les aptitudes. Les programmes Multisports Sportball font découvrir aux enfants les principaux concepts et aptitudes de huit jeux de balle et de ballon populaires : le baseball, le football, le basket-ball, le golf, le hockey, le soccer, le tennis et le volley-ball. À l’aide d’instructions novatrices et d’encouragements positifs, nos programmes visent à développer la motricité globale, l’équilibre, la force, la coordination, l’endurance et la synchronisation. L’équipement utilisé est adapté à chaque tranche d’âge et à la taille des enfants inscrits dans nos programmes. Pendant les vacances scolaires, Sportball offre des classes hebdomadaires saisonnières, ainsi que des camps et des cliniques. Des fêtes d’anniversaire et des événements spéciaux peuvent être organisés selon vos disponibilités. Somewhere along the way it become the norm to skip the part where kids actually learn how to move and just jump straight to the game.
 
Movement is a skill. And like any skill, it needs to be built step by step (and that can be started as early as 16 months!!)

Soccer skills hack 🔥
 
Here’s how you can help your child improve their ball control and directional movement while at home. The progression you see from practicing physical literacy translates directly into sports skills! T-Ball teaches children the fundamentals of movement while they have a ball playing the game. 💪
 
By ages 3-5, Sportball is teaching the fundamentals of batting, throwing, and catching in t-ball. If your child has dreams of being the next Babe Ruth but is a little too young for baseball, this is a great way to get the ball rolling. Through purposeful coaching and science-backed methodology, your little MVP will be hitting “home runs” in no time!
