, Volunteers who work at helping, leading, planning and supporting. Because we're local, we can serve the unique needs of the community we live in !

THE SYDENHAM LIONS ARE AN ACTIVE BUNCH - FROM SEPTEMBER TO JUNE

Here is a little of what we do:

Raise funds so we can support a wide variety of local charities and needy causes. We do this by selling poinsettias at Christmas, raffle tickets in the spring for our 50/50 draw

in the past, We also hosted golf tournaments in June at the Rivendell Golf Course. Hoping to get this going again...

Once a month we meet to clean, grade and package used eyeglasses for distribution free of charge to people in under-developed countries who need them. We assist the Canada Day Committee by helping with various activities during the day

We are always looking for new ideas and new ways of doing things to support our local community. Come on over and see if we are what you are looking for
Members always welcome!

We here at
Sydenham & District Lions would like to wish all a
Happy & Safe Hallowe'en!!
Be safe Be well and enjoy the rest of this October week....

*If going out Trick or Treating, be mindful of the cars and vans as they try to navigate safely through the village in your area.
*If handing out treats for the wee ones, be mindful of the excitement the littles have in 'dressing up'. Each are full of joy, perhaps shy or perhaps not, and deserve to be acknowledged for their costume of choice.!
*If Not going out Trick or Treating but staying Home and participating in Hallowe'en fun with your own, have fun, and enjoy this magical time with your loved ones!
*If Not handing out Treats this year, just enjoy the ambiance of the day of fun and spirit ,
be well be safe,
