Although National Firefighters Day was Monday, May 4th, our appreciation for this incredible team goes far beyond just one day.

Being volunteer doesn’t mean less. It means choosing, again and again, to serve. Our firefighters bring knowledge, skill, bravery, and compassion to every call, going above and beyond for our community time and time again.

We stand proudly behind our crew today and every day. ❤️🚒

Interested in Serving Your Community?

The Sundridge–Strong Fire Department invites you to join us on March 2nd at 6:00 PM to meet our dedicated team of firefighters and support personnel and learn how you can get involved.

We offer multiple ways to serve, including Auxiliary roles—a great opportunity to get started by supporting emergency operations.

Auxiliary members may assist with radio communications, attend medical calls, drive tankers 🚒, manage supplies, and help set up rehabilitation areas on scene.

Looking for a more hands-on role? You can also join as a Firefighter, training to operate in the hot zone alongside our frontline crews 👨‍🚒🔥.

Whether you’re exploring the fire service or ready to answer the call, we’d love to meet you. Your community needs you—come see where you fit.

💥We are still on the hunt for furniture 🛋 in good, clean and smoke free condition. If you have furniture too big for your space, we have a pretty large team 👨‍🚒 that would be happy to use it.
