This week we had the opportunity to host members attending the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference (GGCLC), who came to our Club and LifeHouse Transitional Housing for a tour!

This was such an amazing experience, creating connections with individuals from all across Canada who strive to make a positive impact on our country. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share our story, showcase the work being done here, and have such thoughtful and insightful conversations.

A huge thanks to Kensington Intermediate Senior High School for welcoming us this week, as we delivered another P.A.R.T.Y. program presentation!

With the help of Island EMS, Kensington Police Service, New London Fire Company, Kensington Fire Department PEI, and LungNSPEI, we educated the youth at KISH on the risks of substance misuse, impaired driving, and preventing injuries related to unsafe substance use. Thank you for helping us make this program engaging and effective with your real-world scenarios and expertise in each field!

This program would not be possible without the support of the PEI Liquor Control Commission Community Fund, and the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island — a special shoutout to our sponsors who assist us in putting the safety of youth in our community first! 💙
