The Stratford Lions Club held a bottle drive at Giant Tiger on May 23, 2026. Proceeds will go to One Care.

Two representatives from One Care joined the Lions to help raise money. Despite the bad weather there was a good turn out of people donating bottles and cans. Thank you, citizens of Stratford and Giant Tiger for your support. The Great Canadian U-Brew made special donations throughout the year and the funds were presented at the bottle drive.

The Stratford Lions Club provided a Community Meal at Saint Joseph’s Church on May 21, 2026. A large crowd attended the event and several Lions received compliments on the meal. The menu consisted of barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad and ice cream bars with soda, coffee and tea for beverages.
