On May 14, Shadow Lake Centre is proud to stand with the Moose Hide Campaign, a national, Indigenous-led movement dedicated to ending violence against women and children.
At Shadow Lake, we believe camp is about more than outdoor adventure. It is about creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community where everyone feels respected, supported, and connected. Supporting Indigenous-led initiatives like the Moose Hide Campaign reflects our commitment to learning, reconciliation, and building spaces rooted in kindness and respect.
We encourage our campers, families, staff, and community members to get involved by learning more about the campaign, attending Campaign Day at Queen’s Park or watching the live stream, wearing a Moose Hide Campaign pin, or sharing a photo to help raise awareness.
