Rabbittown Community Centre The Centre serves approximately 300+ families living within Rabbittown in which is owned and operated by NLHC. We serve over 1400 residents.

Some of the Programs and Services we currently offer are: Health Nuts (Wellness Program), After School Program, Teen Program, Parents and Tots, Book Club, Adult Programs, Career Services, Public Health Nurse, Healthy Baby Club, Computer Access Program, Homework Haven, Summer Daycamp, Special Events, and Much, Much, More!!!

⚠️TRAFFIC ADVISORY: To facilitate rehabilitation of the Freshwater Road/Empire Avenue intersection, the following traffic impacts will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1:

➡️ Freshwater Road: Alternating traffic – one lane open at a time.
➡️ Empire Avenue southbound: Near Pizza Empire, traffic will be detoured via Graves Street, Hoyles Avenue, Guy Street and Anderson Avenue.
➡️ Empire Avenue northbound: Near Wishingwell Park, traffic will be detoured via Cashin Avenue, Pennywell Road and Adams Avenue. Access will be maintained for local traffic, including residents, employees, and motorists using the Canada Revenue Agency parking lot.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes and avoid the area if possible. Please follow all posted signage, barricades, and directions from on-site personnel. Alternative pedestrian routes will be provided.
