It was a beautiful day for our wagon ride out west! We were happy to have Gordon Frentz join us with his team. We saw both a moose and a bear today. Unfortunately the culvert we had put in across the creek a few years ago is washing out. We managed to cross it today but will need to be fixed before we can use it again.

It has been a long winter but finally we are planning to take our team to the campsite out West. We will be leaving on the Birchcliff Road on Saturday May 2nd at 10:00 am. Anyone wishing to join us please let me know.

Forecast looks good for the rest of the week so we are planning a work bee to clear more trail at the coal mine site. Anyone interested in joining us please let me know. We will be leaving the Birchcliff Road Saturday November 1st at 10:00 am.

A huge Thanks to Hillcrest Mennonite young people for all the work they did yesterday. Also to Wayne Sather, Bob & Arlene Barlund, Trevor & Christy and family, and Allie and Bunnie Noren. We cleared another 1/2 mile of the coal mine trail!

We will be taking our team to the west campsite on Sunday September 7th. We will leave on the Birchcliff Road at the usual time of 10:00 am. Anyone interested in joining us please let us know.

We had planned to take our team to the west campsite on August 30th but must cancel because we will be attending a funeral on that day. Will postpone until a later date, possibly next Saturday.
