Operating collectively to allow for greater learning experiences for our children and community. Creating a community of consistent peers to engage in learning activities and experiences with. Mandate:
Supporting each other in educating our children in a quality, collaborative, open, and engaging manner. Valuing each child’s independent learning path through imagination and meaningful r

elationships. Embracing life learning and tangible/practical skill development. Vision:
To develop a supportive group with the common goal of educating our children in hands-on, engaging, and collaborative experiences. Quality education: Supporting children’s imaginations, valuing children’s independent paths, fostering meaningful relationships

Values:
Allowing kids to fully embrace their childhood. Exposure to diversity. Learning across mixed age groups. Encourage social development through long-term, consistent relationships.

On Friday we celebrated our learners academic year with Prairie Hive Learning Collective’s first Achievement Day featuring a ceremony and supper!

We were hosted by the beautiful country oasis of !

We would like to take a moment to thank each and every person who has supported this community in the last year. Events like this would not be possible without your support!

We would also like to send a special thank you to YXE Vision Services for donating sunglasses and for providing our hard working students with a well deserved treat!

Mother’s Day was celebrated with Prairie Hive this week at

We were welcomed to their beautiful location, enjoyed a guided potting, snacks, and great company.

This Thursday local home educating students gathered for a celebration of the literary arts!
The south Saskatchewan river provided a picturesque backdrop at to a sunny afternoon listening to local author read her prairie inspired collection of books which are written, illustrated and printed in Saskatoon! The children asked questions and had the opportunity to create beautiful painted watercolor bookmarks.

We also enjoyed a wonderfully animated puppet show put together by
Followed by questions and a photo op!

Various writing prompts, book giveaways sponsored by .books and even ice cream by ! Thank you everyone involved who made this possible!
