The foundation of our group began as one person’s vision to revitalize and sustain our cultural way of life as indigenous people from this territory. Members include a growing number of like-minded community members’. Our first meeting was held Feb 10, 2014. Since then, we have had a treasurer in place and we are registered with a financial institution as a non profit board. In the future, we

plan to have more gatherings and celebrations, as we have many ambitions. We are a not for profit community group; we appreciate any charitable donations. A list of items needed can be found on the back of this page. A receipt will be provided. We welcome all that would like to attend our meetings and /or community events and celebrations. Members have key roles in their areas of specialty ranging from language, drumming, sports, traditional dancing etc. So far, we have initiated;
Manidoo Spirit Award
Community feasts
Artifact reviews
Practiced our traditions
Genealogy discussions
Practiced our Ojibway language
Women's Circle
