We are looking for a volunteer to assist with our upcoming Run/Walk/Bike fundraiser.

We are specifically seeking someone who can help set up the event routes on the day of to ensure participants have a safe and enjoyable experience. If you have experience with route planning or just want to lend a hand, we would love to hear from you.

This event helps raise vital funds to support the youth at Huron House Boys’ Home, and we can’t make it happen without the support of our community.

Despite the rainy weather, our Charity Golf Tournament on May 23 was a huge success!

A big thank you to John Longo at BrownStones Sports Lounge & Restaurant for hosting another fantastic event and to comedian Tige Wright for bringing plenty of laughs to our Heckle Hole, it was definitely a crowd favourite!

Most importantly, thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors and volunteers who came out and made the day so much fun. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $10,000 to support the boys at Huron House Boys' Home. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this event such a success!

May 4–10 is Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is a reminder that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, heard, and valued.

At Huron House, we see firsthand the importance of creating spaces where youth can build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and know they are never alone. Mental health matters every day, and together we can help break the stigma by encouraging open conversations, compassion, and support.

Take a moment this week to check in with the young people in your life. A listening ear, kind word, or simple act of support can make a lasting difference.
