Open Positions:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Director of Communications
• Indigenous Doula & Family Advocate
• Regional Representative Leader
• Regional Representatives
What’s Expected:
• 2 year term positions
• Attend and actively participate in regular board meetings
• Collaborate with fellow board members to guide the organization
• Take initiative within their role and follow through on responsibilities
• Communicate respectfully and consistently
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and accountable board culture
Role Highlights:
• President: Provides overall leadership, facilitates meetings, and helps keep the board aligned and moving forward
• Vice President: Supports the President and steps in as needed
• Secretary: Keeps accurate records, meeting minutes, and documentation
• Treasurer: Oversees finances, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Directors: Lead key areas like membership, communications, and regional support
