The driving goal at Aspire is to deliver personalized, innovative, and integrated services to children with diverse needs and their families in a supportive, understanding, and knowledgeable environment. By providing families with a welcoming, supportive, knowledgable and caring environment we help them maneuver through raising a child with special needs. By offering training to teachers and EA's

we broaden the knowledge of others who touch the lives of children with special needs. By partnering with other agencies we create bonds that foster the potential of these special children.

💙 We are incredibly grateful to the Gulls Give Foundation and the Sylvan Lake Gulls for their generous support of Aspire Child Development Centre.

Last week, we were honoured to receive a generous $5,000 donation during the Gulls' Vintage Ball game, a special evening designed to create a more inclusive and accessible experience for everyone attending. With reduced noise, fewer announcements, and a relaxed atmosphere, the event reflected the importance of creating spaces where all individuals and families feel welcome.

This generous gift will help support the work we do every day with children and families throughout Central Alberta, helping children of all abilities reach their full potential.

Thank you to the Gulls Give Foundation, the Sylvan Lake Gulls, and everyone who supports community organizations through events like these. Together, we are creating a Journey of Possibility for children and families in our community. 💙⚾

🩵 Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen in the middle of an ordinary workday.

Today, I had a special visitor from Aspire's EASE program stop by to say hello. She was fascinated by my computer, the screens, and all the work happening behind the scenes. For a few minutes, we explored together, talked about what I do, and shared some smiles.

It reminded me that while many of us get busy with meetings, emails, and deadlines, taking just a few moments to connect with someone can make a big impact. What felt like a small part of my day became a highlight of hers—and honestly, mine too.

That's one of the things that makes Aspire such a special place. Every day brings opportunities to build connections, celebrate curiosity, and create moments that help children feel seen, valued, and included.

Sometimes, all it takes is a few minutes of your time to make someone else's day a little brighter. 💙

Children and youth aged 6+ who have experienced medical, developmental, physical, emotional, or life challenges are invited to apply for the opportunity to become a Co-Pilot and enjoy an unforgettable ride in a luxury vehicle. 🧡

The day will also feature:
🚘 A Show & Shine with over 150 vehicles
🎈 Bouncy castles and family activities
🎨 Face painting
🎶 Live entertainment
🌭 Food trucks and more

💗 Meet Hugs! 💗

Aspire's Park It Summer Program returns on July 2, and we're excited to introduce the newest member of our team... Hugs! 🧸☀️

Hugs is our special comfort companion, created to help children feel welcome, supported, and included at Park It. Whether it's a new experience, a big feeling, or simply a moment when a child needs a little extra reassurance, Hugs will be there to share comfort, encouragement, and friendship.

You'll find Hugs joining our team at parks all summer long as we bring free outdoor fun, play, and connection to families across Central Alberta.

We're also excited to share that this year, Park It will have a consistent weekly schedule, making it easier than ever for families to find us!

Tuesdays – Red Deer | Bower-Kin Community Centre

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community 🩵

Thank you to everyone who made the Red Deer Community Sun Run such a tremendous success!

Together, we raised an amazing $38,200 in support of Aspire Child Development Centre's programs and services, helping children with diverse needs and their families.

This year's event welcomed more than 500 registrants and brought together over 1,000 community members for a day filled with energy, connection, and community spirit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, participants, donors, and supporters. Your commitment and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable event while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families.

Today, our Circle Time took us outdoors to explore the beautiful flowers at City Hall before gathering together for a joyful circle in the sunshine.

Circle Time is an important part of each day, helping children:
