We’re hiring: Director, Community Engagement

Community Compassion Centre is seeking a part-time Director, Community Engagement to help strengthen community and business partnerships, grow financial and in-kind support, steward donors and partners, and increase awareness of our food bank serving neighbours in K1C in Orléans.

We are looking for a relationship-focused professional who understands the Orléans community and is comfortable opening doors, building trust, presenting partnership opportunities, and following through.

Position details:
$35 per hour, plus benefits
0.5 FTE — 18.75 hours per week
One-year renewable term
Primarily in person in Orléans
French strongly preferred

This holiday season, we wanted to give back. Our entire team at TCVW came together to raise funds and sponsor a family through the Orléans Compassion Centre Food Bank.

On Friday, we met our beneficiary, a mother and her two infant twin boys, and were able to provide $500 in cash, along with a collection of toys and essential baby items. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our community and hope this gesture brings some comfort during the holidays.
