Oh hey hi 👋❤️

Today, I had the honour of sharing my Miles for Sight journey at CNIB’s Connecting the Dots conference in Toronto.

I was nervous walking in. Sharing my story with so many people who have their own experiences of vision loss felt especially personal.

As I spoke about Olivia, why I rode, and the people I met along the way, the emotions came. There were tears in the audience—and from me, too.

I shared the story of meeting Zoey and her dad, Yves, at a Tim Hortons in New Brunswick. Yves was so grateful that I’d reached out and shared why I was riding. That conversation has stayed with me ever since.

Miles for Sight began with my daughter Olivia. Over 25,097.8 km across Canada, it connected me with individuals and families whose stories gave the journey even more meaning.

A heartfelt thank you to Amanda Nobile and Daniel Moore, CNIB’s VP of Philanthropy, for inviting me to share my journey, and to Andrew Glaster for such a warm and heartfelt introduction. Thank you to the entire CNIB team for making me feel so welcome.

Wet pavement, an open road and a rainbow ahead. 🏍️🌧️🌈

Looking back through my photos, this one brings me right back to the ride. There were days of rain, cold and long hours on the bike, but there were also moments like this—beautiful sights along the way that made you appreciate being there.

That appreciation is at the heart of Miles for Sight. Inspired by my daughter Olivia, I rode to support CNIB and people living with vision loss, helping create more opportunities for independence and adventure.

57 days. 3 oceans. 4 corners. 10 provinces. 2 territories. 25,097.8 km.

And so many moments worth remembering. ❤️

25,097.8 km across Canada gave me a lot of stories to tell. Getting up on stage to share them? That brought a whole different set of nerves! 😅🏍️🇨🇦

🍁🇨🇦 Happy Thanksgiving from Miles for Sight! 🏍️🦃❤️

This Thanksgiving feels a little different.
Looking back at this picture, with my arms raised in celebration after 57 days and 25,097.8 kilometres across Canada, I can't help but think about just how much I have to be thankful for.

What started as a motorcycle ride for my daughter Olivia and all people living with vision loss turned into one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

❤️ This Thanksgiving, I'm especially grateful for Diane, our children, our family and friends, and everyone who supported me throughout this incredible journey.

Olivia was the inspiration behind Miles for Sight, and Diane was there supporting me every kilometre of the way. But the love and encouragement of our entire family helped make this journey possible.

To every person who donated, sponsored, shared a post, offered a helping hand, bought me a coffee, stopped to say hello, or simply followed along and cheered us on — THANK YOU! 🙏❤️

You reminded me that there's still so much kindness and generosity in this world.

I may have been the one riding the motorcycle, but I certainly didn't make this journey alone.

The ride may be over, but our mission to make a difference continues! 💙

🏍️🥗 MILES FOR SIGHT – UNFINISHED BUSINESS! 🇨🇦👁️

Sometimes the best stops are the ones you never planned! ❤️

On Sunday, July 5th, 2026, the very first day of my Miles for Sight – Four Corners of Canada Ride, I pulled up to The Chopped Leaf at 640 Hyde Park Road in London, Ontario.

It was 10:25 PM, and unfortunately, they were already closed! 😅

So I snapped a selfie with my Harley-Davidson Pan America outside and continued on what would become an incredible 57-day, 25,097.8 km journey across Canada in support of CNIB and people living with vision loss. 🇨🇦

Fast-forward three months…

Today I found myself back in London, of all things, shopping for a Santa Claus outfit! 🎅😂

Since I was in the neighbourhood, I figured it was time to take care of some unfinished business!

This time the doors were open, and I had the pleasure of meeting owner Bette, her husband Scott, and their son Anthony.

What started as a stop for a delicious meal turned into a wonderful conversation about Miles for Sight, business, family, and life in general.

And wouldn't you know it… we discovered that we both grew up in Hamilton, knew some of the same people, and even attended rival high schools! 😂

Talk about a small world!

A huge thank you to Bette, Scott, and Anthony for the warm welcome, wonderful meal, and even better conversation!

One thing this journey continues to teach me is that it's not just about the kilometres travelled, but the people you meet and the connections you make along the way.

A little Miles for Sight throwback from Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway in Dawson Creek, BC! 🇨🇦🏍️

Before heading north, I happened to spot a familiar sign — The Chopped Leaf! 🥗

After seeing their sign saying, “Lettuce make your day better — one bowl at a time,” I figured there was only one problem…

Why have one when you can have TWO? 😂🥗🥗

Great food, great people, and another Miles for Sight poster went up before I got back on the Pan America and continued north.
