We invite community members to come in a good way, to stop by, offer prayers, and spend time in quiet reflection as we gather in unity, remembrance, and respect. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all who carry him in their hearts during this time.

🍓🌕 Tonight we welcome the Strawberry Moon, the 7th full moon of the year.
There are times in life when the path feels uncertain—when we don’t know where we’re going or who walks beside us. In those moments, it’s important to remember we are never truly alone.
In Ojibwe teachings, this moon—Ode’imini-giizis—marks the time when strawberries ripen, signaling the shift from spring to summer. The word for strawberry means “heart berry,” reflecting its connection to love, nourishment, and emotional well-being.
The strawberry also represents community. Like the plant’s runners that reach outward and take root while staying connected to the mother, we remain linked to one another—supported, nourished, and strengthened even when we feel distant.
Under this Strawberry Moon, we are reminded that we are always connected—to each other, to the land, and to Creator.
