I reflect on my journey with Music Niagara, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for what lies ahead. 🎶

For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of being part of Music Niagara—as both a musician and a resident of Niagara-on-the-Lake—and it has been incredibly meaningful to witness the growth and impact of this remarkable festival in our community.

Last week at our Annual General Meeting, I was reminded of just how special Music Niagara truly is. I’m proud to work alongside a passionate Board of Directors as we continue building on our new Strategic Plan and helping Music Niagara thrive as the premier music festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

This season is especially meaningful as Music Niagara celebrates its 28th Summer Festival—and as I prepare to step down as Chair next year. Before passing the torch, I hope to help make this one of the strongest seasons in Music Niagara’s history.

This year’s festival features an extraordinary lineup, including:
✨ Our new Summer Jazz Series celebrating Women in Jazz
✨ The return of the Toronto All-Star Big Band for their 30th Anniversary concert
✨ The Young Virtuoso Series supporting emerging artists
✨ Affordable ticket options and concert packages to ensure accessibility for all

I’m also excited to share that an anonymous donor has generously committed to a $12,000 Matching Campaign—meaning every donation made to Music Niagara will be doubled.

Your support helps Music Niagara continue to:
🎻 Present world-class performances
🎼 Support young and emerging artists
🎭 Create meaningful cultural experiences for our community

I invite you to join us this season—whether by attending a concert, sharing our story, volunteering, or making a gift to support Music Niagara’s future.

Thank you for being part of the Music Niagara family. I look forward to celebrating this remarkable season with you.

With gratitude,
Paul Shelestowsky
