Thank you to Deb Booth for these awesome photos of the waterfront and the newly installed lighting.

Here is a selection of photos that I took just before Christmas of the new lights on the waterfront. What a great addition to what has been a favorite place for me to spend time with my camera...

Thank you to Rob Plaskett for this compliment posted on the NAKUSP Communicator:
My compliments to those involved in lighting up the waterfront walkway including the company that designed and installed the lighting and the Nakusp Rotary for making it happen. The lighting enhances the beauty of an evening walk along the waterfront without being intrusive. An excellent addition to one of our community's greatest assets.

After the "Flick the Switch on the Waterfront" Ceremony, a handful of Rotary members and their partners/spouses got together for fellowship over a lovely meal at the Leland Hotel. What a great way to end a lovely evening!

Wow! A wonderful turn out at the "Flick the Switch" - Light of the Waterfront! Many thanks to all those brave souls who bared the very chilly temperatures to help celebrate. Coffee and hot chocolate was served to help keep the fingers toasty warm. Many cheered as Karen Hamling unveiled the dedication plaque located near the kiosk at the beginning of the walkway. Thanks you to all of those involved in this 2 year long project - The waterfront lighting looks FANTASTIC!!! Photos to follow soon ...
