AMI-Quebec

AMI-Quebec AMI-Quebec is a non-profit organization in Montreal that helps families cope with mental illness in a loved one. All our programs are free!

We have many programs and services, including some for people living with mental illness themselves: workshops, support groups, counselling for families, family peer support, outreach, online learning, resources, support for young carers, special events, and more. Some are held in person at our office on Decarie and some are online so that we can best accommodate as many people as possible. Please visit amiquebec.org to discover how we can help YOU.

Every year, we celebrate people and organizations whose hard work and diligence help improve the quality of life in our community and beyond. Their advocacy, innovations, volunteering, and efforts to go the extra mile deserve our praise and thanks! All this week we will be celebrating this year’s recipients, so stay tuned--we hope you will follow along!

First up, Tracom was awarded the AMI-Quebec Award for Exemplary Service in the Field of Mental Health 🏆

Our online support groups provide a chance for you to talk about what you're going through in your own mental health journey (as a family carer or as someone with lived experience--those are the terms we use in the mental health biz 🙂 )

There are only 2 weeks left to make your voice heard and complete CHSSN Community Health and Social Services Network's 2026 CROP Survey, and we need your help to represent!

In 2023, data showed that 56% of English speakers visiting emergency rooms or out-patient clinics received care partly or entirely in French. Today, we need an accurate look at what the current healthcare landscape feels like right here in our own neighbourhood.

Every single response brings us closer to developing a portrait of our region. Without enough local respondents, we cannot create an accurate profile for —meaning our local gaps and community challenges risk becoming invisible to public decision-makers.
Let's make sure our local community is counted before the window closes.
