This June, the Clarkson Village Strawberry Festival returns for its second year. This month-long festival recognizes local history, community, and the businesses that make Clarkson Village unique. 🍓
Did you know Clarkson Village was once known as the Strawberry Capital of Ontario? 🌱🍓 In the 19th century, local farmers found great success growing strawberries, helping shape Clarkson’s early identity.
Throughout June, visitors are invited to explore the village through strawberry-themed events, activities, local experiences, and promotions designed to bring the community together while encouraging people to discover and support local businesses.
Festival highlights include:
🍓 Strawberry Strolls: Historic walks through the neighbourhood led by local historian Richard Collins (throughout June 2026)
🎊 Berry Bash Community Event on Saturday, June 20 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Clarkson Community Church featuring live music, family activities, and more
🚗 Sweet Rides Classic Car Show on Sunday, June 28 from 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., presented in partnership with the Mississauga Classic Car Club
