poster making @ 6pm on monday the 15th at the neoss admin building in the basement classroom 124 McKendry west 📍use the outside east door

our 5th annual walk starts as soon as the posters are made + our destination will be the United Church where everyone is welcome to stay for the viewing of the movie 1946

come celebrate pride, be yourself, support your friends + help us show that everyone belongs in our community

through supportive discussion + shared stories, we’ll explore how art can communicate emotions, experiences, identity, + different ways of seeing the world

this isn’t about judging art.
it’s about listening, connecting, + understanding the story behind the canvas

today we wear red. it’s not just a colour, it’s a message.

every red dress stands for someone who should still be here.
a sister. a mom. a friend. a daughter.

too many Indigenous women, girls, + 2S people are taken, hurt, or never brought home. way too often, their stories don’t get the attention they deserve.

today isn’t just about awareness. it’s about remembering.
it’s about listening.
it’s about saying this isn’t okay.

when we wear red, we’re standing with families, with survivors, + with communities who are still fighting for answers and change

no more stolen sisters.
we remember. we care. we keep talking about it.
