Our team recently had the privilege of taking part in three days of learning with Elder Lance Scout, centered on Indigenous culture, wellness, and how we can better support the diverse children, youth, and families we serve. ✨

This experience was incredibly meaningful. 💜 We were reminded of the importance of connection—to culture, to community, and to one another—and the role that respect and understanding play in creating safe, supportive spaces. These teachings will continue to guide our work as we strive to walk alongside Indigenous clients in a more informed, compassionate, and intentional way. 🌿

On the final day, we had the opportunity to visit the Esplanade Archives for a powerful and insightful tour that further deepened our learning.

We are deeply grateful to Elder Lance Scout for sharing his time, knowledge, and teachings with us, and to the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre for welcoming us and providing such a meaningful experience.

First, we want to congratulate her on being featured in Paris Hilton’s Pride Guide! 💜 It’s such an exciting and well-deserved recognition. Her Pride collection, including the rainbow earrings and more, also supports Skipping Stone, with a portion of proceeds going toward their important work. 🌿

She also created a beautiful pair of butterfly earrings inspired by Sanare, with 25% of the proceeds donated to support our work. These earrings are always available, so be sure to check out her website. 🦋
