Our Remembrance Day Ceremony Sunday November 8th at 14:00 at the « Parc du Souvenir » in Maniwaki at 136 du Souvenir. The Cadets will be marching from St Patrick’s church starting at 13:40

Merci à Aurel Dubé et la Communauté Kitigan Zibi pour leur support et don substantiel au projet.
Il est important de mentioner que nous sommes un OBNL et sans le support de nos membres et bénévoles, des dignitaires et de toute notre communauté régionale de la MRCVG, notre Légion n’existerait plus.

We thank Aurel Dubé and the Kitigan Zibi Community for their support and their substantial financial donation towards this project.
It is important to mention that we are a Non Profit Organization and without the support of our members, volunteers, dignitairies and all our regional community MRCVG our Legion would cease to exist.

Dévoilement du Panneau Commémoratif dimanche le 25 octobre prochain à 14:00 au parc du Souvenir de Maniwaki
Il y aura présentation d’une plaque de la Société Canadienne des Postes dans le cadre du Centenaire de la Légion Royale Canadienne par la Maître de Poste d’Aumond aussi.

The unveiling of the Commemorative Panel this Sunday October 25th at 14:00 at the “parc du Souvenir” in Maniwaki.
There will also be a presentation of a plaque from Canada Post in recognition of the Royal Canadian Legion’s Centennial, presented by the Postmaster of Aumond.

Pour lancer la Campagne du Coquelicot 2026 la présidente de la Campagne du Coquelicot, Jackie O’Leary a remis le premier Coquelicot au Padre Mario Thibault, membre de notre Légion. Dans notre région la Campagne débutera le mercredi 28 octobre prochain, mais il y a aura des Coquelicots disponibles lors du dévoilement du Panneau Commémoratif dimanche le 25 octobre prochain au parc du Souvenir à Maniwaki.

To launch the 2026 Poppy Campaign, the Poppy Campaign president Jackie O’Leary presented the first Poppy to Padre Mario Thibault member of our Legion. In our region, the Poppy Campaign will officially begin on Wednesday, October 28. However, Poppies will be available during the unveiling of the Commemorative Panel this Sunday, October 25, at our “Parc du Souvenir” in Maniwaki.
