Kiigehdan is a nonprofit organization
Not funded by the government or an organization. Everything I've been trying to do is out of my own pocket. FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE❤️❤️‍🔥🌈 IDK where this project will take me but I pray things come to light. Because we all need healing 💜 So as a mother of 10 children, 5 of my own and 5 foster children. It can take a toll financially. 👏 but I continue to put my heart and soul into this project. I'm so excited and scared at the same time. Please pray this project comes to life 💜

Guide me so that I stay on path towards my destiny and navigate through the challenges I face daily, just like the river finds a way around obstacles and stays on course. Expand me and my business. Protect my home and myself. Just like the river forms a natural barrier may it create a protective barrier between me and those with bad character. Grant me patience to develop good character and make my experiences and life lessons go smoother,just like the river rocks were made smoother over a long time from the river’s steady flow. May my life have balance and may I live in harmony, just like water always finds it level and the river adapts to find a path of least resistance. May love and joy find me so that I can thrive and succeed, just like the river brings life giving nourishment to everything it touches🙏🏾💜

FUN FACT: After our second sweat here last Sunday, an eagle and red tail hawk flew over us. I was having a melt down of course lol crying as usual. They don't call me Mweeekita for nothing 😂 BUT I got my sign. And I know I am on the right path. I will never let anyone take that away from me. 😍 MUCH LOVE TO EVERYONE! MEGWETCH FOR SUPPORTING ME AND BELIEVING IN MY VISION 🫶

Feasting for Change: Reconnecting with food, land and culture🫶

The feasts serve as a platform to support an open discussion of community issues and the sharing of traditional knowledge between elders and youth.

EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO JOIN

One of the goals of the Feasting for Change is to model ancestral First Nations stewardship to ensure food resources that nourish bodies and revitalize spirits are sustainable.

Connecting the Elders and Youth will set the table around the old ways of doing things and the new ways of doing things. How do we move forward from here? We need to find the balance.
Bring back our culture and language. And see what happens💕
