Our volunteers were busy helping bake cookies in our Shields Community Kitchen. Over 7000 cookies baked for large orders to help the store keep up to the demand.

Casino Volunteers Needed!!

Please comment here and we will be in contact if you are interested in helping out for our fundraising casino this week.

All proceeds from the casino will be used to serve the clients within the 7 municipalities within our boundaries.

Race to Save Christmas is happening at the Century Mile Race Track right now until 8pm. No races. But still lots of fun activities.

Come down, see Santa, the Grinch, and shop at the craft market. 50/50 sales are happening online using the QR code or coming down in person.

Join us for a magical holiday evening at Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino as we present The Race to Save Christmas, in partnership with the Alberta Standardbred Horse Association and Horse Racing Alberta.

Admission is free, but we encourage guests to bring a donation in the spirit of giving this holiday season. Gather your family and friends, bundle up, and come experience an unforgettable night at the races as we come together for the Race to Save Christmas.

The Leduc & District Food Bank (LDFB) will be hosting a prize raffle of 50% of the Ticket Sales. There will be presales online starting December 1, 2025 and in person sales at the event on December 20, 2025.

With proceeds going to help support programs they offer such as the Food Hampers, School Snack Attach and School Bagged Lunch Program, The Kitchen and Skills Learning Center, etc. The LDFB serves 7 Municipalities within the Leduc County Region with a population of approx. 80,000.
