At our Appreciation Night on October 22, we were proud to honour the late Brenda Dodman with our Partner in Health Award.

Brenda's impact on the Foundation was truly remarkable. Through her dedicated service as a committee member, Board Trustee, and past Chair, she generously shared her time, leadership, and passion for strengthening healthcare in our community.

Brenda once said that being involved with the Foundation made her feel like she was “doing something right for the betterment of the community.” Those words perfectly reflected the spirit in which she served and the legacy she left behind.
Her commitment, generosity, and unwavering belief in the importance of local healthcare have left a lasting mark on our Foundation and our community. We remain deeply grateful for the many years she dedicated to our mission.

It was a privilege to welcome her husband, Walter Dodman, who accepted the award on her behalf surrounded by family members who joined us to celebrate and remember her extraordinary contributions.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 22 for our Donor, Partner and Sponsor Appreciation Night.

We celebrated incredible contributions, including presenting the Partner in Health Award to Brenda Dodman, and expressing heartfelt thanks to our outgoing board members for their commitment and leadership. It was a wonderful evening honouring those who help us do what we do.

We were also excited to officially announce our newest campaign, the Virtual Patient Monitoring Program, a transformative program coming to the Leduc Community Hospital that will help enhance patient care and improve health outcomes close to home.
