We’re delighted to welcome Margot Hagarty to the Leduc Community Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees.

Margot recently retired after more than 30 years of leadership in housing and health across Alberta. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to strengthening communities and supporting the well‑being of Albertans.

In retirement, Margot enjoys growing flowers and spending time with her grandchildren, bringing that same warmth and care to everything she does.

Thank you to our generous donors for making this critical upgrade possible. Your support directly enhances patient care and community readiness.

The C‑MAC® HD GlideScope has been a game‑changer for the surgical team at Leduc Community Hospital. With 2,788 procedures last year, 2,650 requiring intubation, and similar volumes ahead, having reliable airway equipment is essential.

This newest GlideScope adds high‑resolution visualization that supports safer intubation, especially for patients with complex anatomy. And with this third unit now available, teams can move faster between cases, reduce wait times across all three ORs, and cut down sterilization delays thanks to disposable blades.

It also strengthens professional development for partners like Leduc Fire, EMS, and STARS.
